weekly photo challenge: afloat

Saturday, April 11:  I haven’t participated in the Weekly Photo Challenge in a long time, but today I’m feeling inspired by the theme of “afloat.”  I recently spent several weeks in Myanmar’s Inle Lake and in Hong Kong’s Aberdeen, both of which I found to be wonderfully photogenic.  Here are a few glimpses of what I saw. 🙂

  2. Love the photo of the stilt houses, Cathy! Happy weekend 🙂

    • Thanks, Jo. I’m really antsy to start posting my Myanmar photos, but trying to do things in an orderly fashion. Have to finish the China part first. 🙂

  3. OMG I cannot WAIT for the Myanmar blogs!!!!!!!! Wow those two photos say SO much!! First one should be (another) postcard courtesy of Cathy!

    • I’m chomping at the bits to start posting about Myanmar, Mona Lisa, but I’m trying to be orderly and post in the order of my trip. It’s so hard though, because I loved Myanmar, and I can’t wait to relive it all. Thanks for the compliment on the stilt-house photo. 🙂

  9. They’re all beautiful, but I love “the floating gardens of Inle Lake, Myanmar” image. I feel like I’m floating along with you, and the scenery ahead is gorgeous.
